Era la segunda victoria consecutiva para Torch Is Passed(Munnings), potrillo de dos años que es propiedad de Kenneth Ramsey, y que calificó para correr Starter Optional Claiming, hoy venció en tiempo de 56”98 sobre los 5 furlongs en la tapeta. Es la victoria número 24 en el año para Nolan Ramsey y su segunda en el Championship Meet, la temporada grande de Gulsftream Park.
