Despite a slow start, King Julien (Kingman) successfully closed the gap to nip War To Remember at the wire in his first start under the training of Nolan Ramsey.
The bay colt, racing under the silks of Wolf Pack Racing, secured the win in 57 1/5 seconds over the synthetic surface at a distance of 5 furlongs.
This marked Team Ramsey’s second victory of the week—this time guided by Miguel Vasquez, who made the absolute most of the colt’s abilities.
