PARIS SURPRISE From start to finish, Paris Surprise (City Of Light) proved far superior in the $30,000 claiming race, dominating the field with ease. From the outset, he steadily increased his lead over his stablemate, Cognoscenti, in a one-two finish for trainer Nolan Ramsey. The favorite was ridden by Irad Ortiz and secured his second victory, both on the turf. Wearing the colors of Kenneth Ramsey, he completed the 1 1/16-mile race in a final time of 1:41.77.

De punta a punta, Paris Surprise (City Of Light) se mostró muy superior en el Claiming, por valor de 30k, grupo al que sometió con absoluta facilidad. De partida, fue estirando diferencias ante el ataque de su compañero de establo, Cognoscenti, en uno- dos para Nolan Ramsey.
